Requirements: Licensed RN in the State of Ohio; RAC-CT Certification
Experience: Long Term Care experience preferred.

Job Title: 2nd Shift Unit Manager

Requirements: Degree in nursing
Education: Degree in Business or Accounting.
Experience: Previous experience in Long Term Care and/or in gerontological nursing.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Licensure: Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.

Hours/Days/Shifts
Weekly, 40 hours per week
2nd Shift; M-F 3pm-11pm: Salaried Position

Job Duties
• Must have excellent nursing clinical/assessment skills
• Have some knowledge of State Survey Process.
• Responsible for assuring staff is available for assigned shifts.
• Provide staff in-servicing as needed for assigned shifts.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Responsible and accountable for quality nursing care to all residents, regardless of race, color, creed, economic or mental status.
• Responsible for professional and ethical behavior or self and staff supervised.
• Responsible and accountable for directing, supervising and evaluating nursing care of assigned staff for 2nd shift.
• Responsible and accountable for handling facility administrative issues as per facility policies for assigned shift(s).
